Bio:
John Hood – Pipeline Supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks
John is currently a Pipeline Supervisor and TD at Sony Pictures Imageworks where he has worked on a list of films including Open Season, Beowulf, Eagle Eye, I Am Legend, Hotel Transylvania and The Smurfs. He was an animator and lead on several games including Soul Reaver I & II, Age of Mythology, and Strangers Wrath from Oddworld Inhabitants.
Teaching credits include previously taught at Full Sail, Gnomon School Of Visual Effects, Rigging Dojo, and has given several industry classes and talks.
Check out his most recent SIGGRAPH presentation from the Got Crowds talk, covering the CrAM system. CrAM is a framework developed at Sony Pictures Imageworks to give non-technical artists creative control over crowd assets.

- Co-founders Brad and Chad both worked for John Hood at Full Sail where we worked together teaching animaiton.

- John was co-author with Brad on the Inspired Rigging book and co-founder Josh Carey was tech editor and contributor on.

- John and Brad Co-wrote and presented 2004 Alias MasterClass on Next-Gen Art Creation for Games.
