Rigging Dojo is an online school providing personal customized training for character rigging and technical art for artists looking to learn new skills or update existing ones.
Our classes have a true mentor-mentee based approach. Based on the student’s learning requests they will be matched with a mentor. The curriculum is then custom designed by the mentor working with each student based on exactly the skills they want to learn, providing personalized online training unique to Rigging Dojo.
From beginners (students) to working professionals looking to enhance their skills, *any one that is willing to improve their work can apply.
Because classes are not location bound or time based we are able to take English speaking students that have fast internet access, *3d software and a willingness to work hard. Custom training from Rigging Dojo helps students improve techniques from beginner to advanced for skinning and deformations, scripting (MEL and or python), mechanical rigging , skeleton design, tool creation, animation UI and pipeline improvement,setup and motion capture editing.
Rigging Dojo was formed to focus on teaching the art and science of character rigging, helping artists overcome the obstacles of computer animation production.

Technical concepts and rigging knowledge is transferable to most 3d software.
